Persija Jakarta continue their perfect run at the start of the 2026/27 Super League. A lone goal from Arlyansyah Abdulmanan earned the Macan Kemayoran a 1-0 victory over Java United on matchweek three, held at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Bali on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Persebaya Surabaya let a home victory slip from their grasp. After taking the lead via Alex Martins in the 85th minute, the Bajul Ijo conceded just four minutes later and were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Garudayaksa FC at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium.
Persija only required 13 minutes to break the deadlock. Arlyansyah Abdulmanan converted a low cross from Kerim Memija on the left flank to pierce Java United's defence.

This strike was Arlyansyah's first goal of the current campaign, and also his second goal for Persija since joining the club last season.
Persija protected their advantage by controlling the flow of the game through their midfield unit. Arlyansyah nearly doubled his tally in the 33rd minute, but his effort was denied by Java United goalkeeper Jorge Meurer. A powerful strike from Fabio Calonego also failed to properly threaten the opposition goal.
Another opportunity arose in the 37th minute. Played through by Stjepan Loncar, Alexander Jeremejeff found himself completely unmarked directly in front of goal but failed to control the ball cleanly. Persija's single goal lead remained intact heading into the half-time interval.
After the restart, Java United head coach Fabio Lefundes introduced Tri Setiawan in place of starting right-back Muhamad Firli.
This change injected life into Java United, who began to match the intensity and tempo of Shin Tae-yong's side.
Persija carved out another chance in the 67th minute through Rayhan Hannan, but his shot drifted off target.
Jeremejeff also had an opportunity to extend the lead in the 80th minute, only for Meurer to once again deny Persija's new striker.
Java United responded five minutes later. David Da Silva won an aerial duel against Rizky Ridho inside the penalty area before unleashing a left-footed strike, but the ball drifted wide of Nadeo Argawinata's goal.
No further goals were scored, and the match finished 1-0 to Persija.
This result means Persija have claimed maximum points from their opening three fixtures, following prior victories against Borneo FC and Persib Bandung.
The additional three points puts Persija in second place with 9 points, level on points with top-placed Madura United.

In Surabaya, Persebaya were forced to settle for a share of the points against Garudayaksa. Both teams played with high aggression from the opening whistle.
Persebaya registered the first attacking threat in the 4th minute through Yan Mabella, whose header from Diogo Ramalho's corner kick failed to hit the target.
Two minutes later, an effort from Jefferson Silva also drifted wide of goal.
Garudayaksa responded with an attempt from Christian Frydek in the 8th minute, which also went off target.
The scoreline remained deadlocked at 0-0 at half time.
Persebaya increased their pressure after the break. Miguel Pereira found the back of the net in the 47th minute, but the goal was ruled out for offside against a fellow Persebaya player.
Garudayaksa went close via Arkhan Kaka in the 65th minute. Breaking on the counter attack, Arkhan drove through the Persebaya defence before firing a shot wide.
Persebaya's sustained pressure finally paid off in the 85th minute. Alex Martins powered home a header from Jefferson Silva's cross to put the hosts 1-0 ahead.
This lead would only last four minutes. In the 89th minute, Al Hamra Hehanussa found space after collecting a pass from Frydek. Left completely unmarked, Al Hamra fired past Reza Arya to level the scores at 1-1.
Persebaya pushed desperately for a late winner in the remaining game time, but the equaliser held firm until the final whistle.
This result leaves Persebaya in 7th position with 5 points, while Garudayaksa sit 13th in the table with 2 points.
