Persija Ticket Prices Have Risen, Bambang Pamungkas Discloses Special Allocation Intended for The Jakmania.

Jakarta - Persija Jakarta Sports Director Bambang Pamungkas has issued an explanation regarding the controversy over ticket price increases for the Macan Kemayoran team launch event ahead of the 2026/2027 season. According to Bambang, social media claims that ticket prices will rise by up to 70 percent do not fully represent the ticketing scheme that the club has prepared.

This explanation was delivered by Bambang amid public backlash after The Jakmania supporters announced they would boycott Persija's match against Brisbane Roar FC.

"There is something I need to clarify. Information is circulating that ticket prices are increasing by 70 percent. The ticket prices we officially published on Persija's platforms are for tickets sold via general online sales," Bambang stated during a press conference in Jakarta.

Bambang explained that alongside the tickets announced via Persija's official channels, the club has also prepared a special ticket quota exclusively for The Jakmania.

"This means there is a dedicated ticket allocation for our loyal supporters, The Jakmania. These tickets will be distributed through The Jakmania central governing board and their respective regional coordinators," he said.

The Jakmania Are Part Of Persija

Bambang went on to emphasise the position of The Jakmania within Persija's ecosystem. He stated that supporters cannot be treated solely viewed as mere match consumers, as they share deep emotional bonds and a long shared history with the club.

For Bambang, The Jakmania are an integral part of Persija's journey, and represent the collective support of the people of Jakarta.

This supporter group holds profound personal ties with Persija, and carries a long history of standing with the club to represent the capital city's name.

For this reason, Persija provides a dedicated access channel for The Jakmania to obtain match tickets.

The former Indonesian national team player confirmed this special allocation will also apply for the fixture against Brisbane Roar FC at Jakarta International Stadium.

"So if anyone assumes the lowest available ticket price is the figure we announced publicly, that is incorrect. There is this special allocation for our supporters, The Jakmania," Bambang stated.

The Jakmania Previously Announced Boycott Plans

Prior to this explanation, The Jakmania had formally declared their intention to boycott Persija's 2026/2027 squad launch event. This stance was announced via the group's official Instagram account on Thursday.

The supporter group made this decision after stating they had failed to reach a common agreement with Persija management regarding ticket pricing.

According to The Jakmania, ticket prices for the Brisbane Roar match have increased compared to pricing applied in the previous season.

Lower tier stand tickets are reported to have risen by IDR 150,000, while upper tier tickets increased by IDR 130,000. These prices do not yet include applicable taxes and administrative fees.

The planned boycott drew widespread attention, as the match against Brisbane Roar is not an ordinary pre-season friendly. This fixture also serves as the official launch event for Persija's new season squad.

The Jakmania assessed that the ticket price hike would create barriers for supporters wishing to attend this milestone event. The group has subsequently called on club management to adjust the pricing structure.
