Indonesian female golfer Alice Lesmana has secured her place at the 2026 Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Final after winning the Jakarta qualifying series. She will represent Indonesia at the final round in Antalya, Turkey later this coming December.

Alice locked in her grand final qualification after claiming first place at the Jakarta series on 20 August 2026 with a total of 39 points.

This success opens the opportunity for Alice to experience the atmosphere of an international golf tournament in Turkey.

"I really did not expect this result, this was a huge surprise. I have never been to Turkey before, so it will absolutely be wonderful to visit. I will cherish this opportunity and give my very best performance," Alice stated in an official press release on Saturday.

For Alice, this opportunity marks a new chapter in her golf career, after 12 years dedicated to the sport.

Alice Tops Jakarta Qualifying Round

Alice delivered consistent solid play throughout the Jakarta series. Despite competing from the white tee, she maintained her form to collect the highest total points.

"We played from the white tee, so the course length was quite challenging. But my game held up really well overall," she said.

Alongside taking the overall tournament win, Alice also claimed the women's nearest to the pin award.

In other competition categories, Purwohadi won the men's nearest to the pin title. Meanwhile Muhammad Luthfi Haiban received the lowest gross award after recording a round of 78 strokes.

This result makes Alice the first Indonesian qualifier for the 2026 Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Final.

Facing Champions From 80 Nations

Alice will face a new level of challenge in Antalya. She will compete against the top amateur golfers from countries worldwide, all of whom won their respective local qualifying series.

This year, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup is being run across 139 separate tournaments in 80 countries. Over 10,000 amateur golfers participated in the qualifying circuit before all winning players are brought together at Gloria Golf Club, Antalya.

This means Alice will compete directly against national champion golfers from every region of the globe at the final event.

Indonesia still has the chance to send additional golfers to the Grand Final. One remaining qualifying series is scheduled to take place in Bali during September 2026.

The winner of this Bali round will qualify as the next Indonesian representative for the Antalya final.

Turkish Airlines Backs Alice's Tournament Journey

Celal Baykal, General Manager for Turkish Airlines Jakarta, conveyed his appreciation for Alice's achievement.

"Congratulations to our winner, Alice Lesmana. We send all our best wishes for her time competing in Turkey," Celal commented.

The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup was first launched in 2013. This international amateur golf tournament acts as a gathering platform for global business communities as well as golfers across different nations.
