Emil Audero Mulyadi is turning over a new page in his career. The Indonesia national team goalkeeper is reported to be leaving Como to join Rayo Vallecano on loan for the 2026/2027 season.
This news was revealed by leading Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Per Romano, the loan agreement for Emil between Como and Rayo Vallecano has been finalised, with only concluding formalities pending before the transfer is officially announced.
"Rayo Vallecano will sign Emil Audero on loan. The deal is done," Romano posted on his official social media account on Tuesday, 1 September WIB.

Indonesia National Team goalkeeper Emil Audero has been included in Como 1907's squad, so is the transfer move to Juventus only a rumor?
Defeat Sevilla, Real Madrid join Barcelona in tight La Liga top race.
This move is a critical step for Emil, who requires consistent playing time. Since returning to Como at the start of the 2026/2027 season, the 29-year-old goalkeeper has not been trusted as head coach Cesc Fabregas' first choice starter.
Was Cremonese's Starting Goalkeeper Last Season
Emil spent the previous campaign on loan at Cremonese. He held the undisputed starting goalkeeper position and featured in 35 matches across the full season.
Despite his on-pitch contributions, Emil was unable to keep Cremonese in Italy's top flight, with the club suffering relegation to Serie B.
When his loan expired, Emil returned to Como where he remains under contract until 2028. However this return did not secure him a spot in Fabregas' core first team plans.
As of the second matchweek of the 2026/2027 Serie A season, Emil had remained entirely on the bench. His position became even more precarious after Como completed a season-long loan signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
Rayo Vallecano Seeking Goalkeeper Reinforcements
Rayo Vallecano are bringing in Emil to strengthen their goalkeeping ranks. The side nicknamed Los Franjirrojos currently only have two senior goalkeepers registered in their squad: Dani Cardenas and Augusto Batalla.
Emil has responded positively to the club's interest.
His performances during his loan spell at Cremonese demonstrated that Emil remains fully capable of performing as a starting first team goalkeeper when given proper opportunity.
Emil's transfer to Vallecano is currently pending final administrative processes. Provided all procedures proceed without issue and he passes his medical examination, he will be officially unveiled as a Rayo Vallecano player imminently.
This move to Spain represents an entirely new challenge for Emil, who has spent almost the entirety of his senior professional career competing in Italy.
