Jakarta - The property sector holds a strategic role in strengthening national economic resilience, as it is interconnected with approximately 183 supporting industrial subsectors. According to Pujo, the government continues to drive strengthening of the property sector through targeted policies designed to preserve public purchasing power while stimulating demand for property products.

Implemented policy instruments include Government-Borne Value Added Tax (PPN DTP) incentives, a maximum 100% Loan to Value (LTV) regulation for property financing, and the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) programme for low-income communities.

The 100% maximum LTV policy for property credit and financing has also been extended until 31 December 2026.

Meanwhile, development of the property industry must be paired with increased utilisation of domestic manufactured goods and optimisation of local supply chains. Integration of new energy infrastructure into modern residential developments is also identified as a critical requirement to build a productive, efficient and sustainable property ecosystem.

This year, awards were presented to 55 winners across 8 main categories. The 2026 The People's Choice event recorded over 111,000 unique voters with a total of 427,000 votes cast.

This consumer-voted award framework positions public sentiment as a core indicator to drive improvements in quality, innovation and competitiveness across the national property industry.
