Tijjani Reijnders has officially ended his short spell at Manchester City. The Dutch midfielder of Indonesian descent departs the English Premier League giant after just one season, and will continue his professional career in Saudi Arabia with Al Qadsiah.
Manchester City confirmed Reijnders' transfer via the club's official Instagram account. This is a permanent transfer, only pending finalisation of international clearance.
"Tijjani Reijnders has joined Al Qadsiah on a permanent deal, subject to international clearance. We wish him all the best," read the official post from Manchester City's Instagram account.

Shortly after Manchester City's announcement, Al Qadsiah unveiled Reijnders as their new signing. The Saudi Pro League club welcomed the midfielder with a dedicated social media post.
"This is the signing that completes everything. This top star is now ours," Al Qadsiah wrote.
This transfer brings an end to Reijnders' time at Manchester City, which only began in the 2025 summer transfer window. The 27-year-old was originally under contract with The Citizens until 2030.
However, a shift in plans under head coach Enzo Maresca changed Reijnders' future at the Etihad Stadium. According to Sport Bible reports, the midfielder was not included in Maresca's core first team plans for the upcoming season.
The situation developed further after Manchester City lost Rodri to Barcelona. Rather than retaining Reijnders as part of their midfield rebuild, Maresca instead opted to target new additional midfielders to strengthen the squad.
Reijnders Leaves Man City With Two Trophy Honours
Despite only spending one season at the club, Reijnders departs Manchester City with positive memories. He was part of the squad that lifted two trophies during the previous campaign.
He released a farewell message following official confirmation of his move to Al Qadsiah.
"Being part of the squad that won these two special trophies last season was an incredible experience and achievement that I will always remember," Reijnders stated.
He emphasised that his departure will not erase the emotional bond he formed with the club.
"I may be moving on to the next chapter of my career, but Manchester City will always hold a special place in my heart," he added.
At Al Qadsiah, Reijnders will face a new challenge in the Saudi Pro League. This move opens a new career chapter for the player who carries Indonesian heritage through his family line.
According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al Qadsiah have signed Reijnders for a transfer fee of £60 million, equivalent to approximately 1.4 trillion Indonesian Rupiah.
This fee makes Reijnders one of the biggest signings in Al Qadsiah's history, as the club continues to recruit experienced European players to strengthen their squad.
For Reijnders, this transfer presents an opportunity to secure a regular first team role after just one season at Manchester City. Meanwhile, Al Qadsiah expect his arrival to boost the quality and experience of their midfield line.
