After representing the Indonesia National Team, Marc Klok will join Persib's training camp in Bali on 13 August 2026.

Marc Klok makes no secret of his excitement to rejoin Persib Bandung. After spending an extended period on duty with the Indonesian National Team for the 2026 AFF Cup, the 33-year-old midfielder is set to return to training with the Blue Prince squad as the team holds their training camp in Bali.

Klok is scheduled to join the Persib squad on Thursday, 13 August.

During his absence from Persib's collective training sessions, he was only able to follow the club's developments via television broadcasts and social media.

"I'm really excited to get back training with Persib. It has been quite a long time away, I could only watch the team's progress through social media and TV. I really miss my teammates, and I miss Bandung," stated Klok, as quoted from the club's official website on Thursday.

Klok's return bolsters Persib as the team finalises preparations ahead of the 2026/2027 season. The Blue Prince's fixture calendar this term will not only cover domestic league competition, but also competitive challenges at Asian and ASEAN level.

The Bali training camp provides an opportunity for Igor Tolic's side to reintegrate all long-serving squad members alongside the club's new signings.

Persib will play two friendly matches during their stay in Bali. They will first face Sabah FC on 15 August 2026, before taking on Bali United on 18 August 2026.

Klok stressed that these two matches are far more than just routine trial fixtures. He views them as a valuable chance to get acquainted with new teammates, understand the playing philosophy the coach intends to implement, and build working chemistry within the squad.

"These two matches here in Bali are extremely important for our preparations, to connect with the new players and grasp the coach's play style. This is perfect momentum for us to build team chemistry and work hard to hit our targets this coming season," Klok explained.

For Persib, this Bali training camp marks a critical preparatory phase before the new season kicks off. The high-intensity training schedule and the two friendly matches will be used to gauge overall team readiness, including how well players are adapting to the tactical approach rolled out by the coaching staff.

Klok described Bali as an ideal environment to build personal bonds within the squad, and align every member's focus ahead of the 2026/2027 campaign.
