Ahead of the 2026/2027 Super League, Dion Markx and Ramon Tanque Return to the Pitch

Persib Bandung received positive updates from the medical department during their training camp in Bali. Two players previously sidelined by injury, Dion Markx and Ramon Tanque, have returned to on-pitch training after their conditions showed steady improvement.

Dion had suffered a hamstring injury, while Ramon was undergoing recovery for a shoulder problem. Both players have been cleared to resume ball work at the Bali United Training Center, Gianyar, under supervision of Persib assistant fitness coach Yaya Sunarya.

This is Dion's second full training session during Persib's Bali camp, while Ramon has joined on-pitch training for the first time since his injury layoff.

The return of both players is positive momentum for Persib as they finalise preparations for the 2026/2027 season. The Blue Prince will require full squad depth to navigate a congested fixture calendar across both domestic and continental Asian competitions.

Berguinho Returns To The Pitch

Alongside Dion and Ramon, encouraging progress has also been recorded for Berguinho. The Brazilian winger had previously sustained an ankle injury that required an extended gym-based recovery period.

While he is not yet cleared to participate in the full team training programme, his condition is confirmed to be showing very positive development.

"My left ankle is feeling comfortable now, there is no more pain," Berguinho stated pitchside, accompanied by Persib physiotherapist Geraldo Santos.

With multiple injured players now on the road to recovery, this Bali training camp will be used to gradually rebuild their match fitness ahead of competitive fixtures.

Luciano Guaycochea Remains Under Medical Assessment

Against the positive updates for Dion, Ramon and Berguinho, Luciano Guaycochea remains the only player not yet cleared for on-pitch activity.

The Argentine midfielder is still undergoing further medical evaluation. On Thursday, Guaycochea attended additional diagnostic testing in Denpasar accompanied by Persib team doctor Dr. Wira Prasetya Chandra.

Persib are scheduled to open their Super League campaign against PSM Makassar on 6 September.

Ahead of that league opener, Persib will play an AFC Champions League 2 qualifying match on 31 August against Manila Digger, the reigning Philippines top division champions.
