News surrounding the Ferran Torres transfer is finally starting to clear up. Barcelona are reported to have reached a full agreement with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to release the Spanish international forward during the 2026 summer transfer window.
This transfer is set to be one of the highest profile moves ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. According to reporting published Friday by Diario Sport, the two clubs finally found common ground following multiple weeks of negotiations.
PSG has agreed to pay a transfer fee of 48.5 million euros, equal to approximately 900 billion Indonesian Rupiah. This information has been corroborated by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed Ferran Torres will sign a long term contract running through to 2031.

The 26 year old forward is scheduled to travel to Paris imminently to complete his mandatory medical examination before finalising the full transfer process.
Once all administrative formalities are finalised, Torres will immediately join the PSG first team squad under head coach Luis Enrique.
This move opens an entirely new chapter in Torres' professional career, bringing an end to his spell with Barcelona.
The Valencia born striker had been an established member of the Blaugrana squad, and made dozens of competitive appearances for the Catalan side.
Negotiations Between Barcelona And PSG Reach Conclusion
Barcelona had initially rejected PSG's opening offer for the player. However, discussions continued between both clubs until a final acceptable agreement was struck.
From Barcelona's perspective, selling Ferran Torres forms part of the club's wider plans to restructure their first team squad while also stabilising the club's financial position ahead of the new season.
Barcelona management granted Torres special exemption from attending squad training sessions on both Wednesday and Thursday.
This arrangement was put in place to allow his transfer to PSG to proceed without interruptions.
Ferran Torres had originally been required to report back to Barcelona training on 12 August, following his post-tournament rest period after representing Spain at the 2026 World Cup.
Ferran Torres Joins Reigning Champions League Holders
In Paris, Ferran Torres will join a PSG side entering the 2026/27 season as defending Champions League winners.
The signing will also reunite Torres with Luis Enrique. The Spanish head coach is currently building out his squad as PSG target to defend their European crown and extend their domestic dominance.
Torres arrives off the back of a strong 2026 World Cup campaign with Spain, including scoring a goal in the tournament final.
Barring any last minute issues, Ferran Torres will be officially unveiled as PSG's latest signing imminently, and begin his new career chapter at the Parc des Princes.
